Equine Dental Diagnostics Upgrade: Focus on Oroscope Examination and Radiograph Acquisition and Interpretation – October 27, 2021
This course is designed for private practitioners to explore the latest in dental diagnostic technology and leave the meeting feeling empowered to perform high quality oral examinations and acquire diagnostic dental radiographs that they can accurately interpret to provide a treatment plan.
This course is designed for clinicians that have experience in basic diagnostic laparoscopy. The day will be comprised of lectures on advanced skills and a laboratory on a standing horse to complete an abdominal exploration, ovariectomy, and nephrosplenic space ablation. This course includes 4 hours of lecture and 4 hours of hands on laboratory time. The participant must have taken a basic laparoscopic course or document similar experience and have approval by the course instructor
This course focuses on basic equine laparoscopic surgery. The participants learn laparoscopic instrumentation, manipulation and principles of cryptorchidectomy, and ovariectomy. This course includes 9.5 hours of lecture and 6.5 hours of laboratory time.
