The goal of the course is to provide up-to-date, clinically relevant information on pregnancy diagnosis, problems of early pregnancy, management of twins, complications of mid- to late term pregnancy, care of the pregnant mare, prediction of foaling, normal foaling, induction of labor, evaluation and management of dystocia and complications of the post-partum mare including options for management of retained fetal membranes. Colorado State University has a long history of applied research and clinical service in the field of equine reproduction as well as a dedication to continuing education for horse owners and veterinarians.
