Course Description for Technicians:
This 2-day technicians’ course consists of 5 hours of lecture and 10 hours of hands-on lab. Your training experience with include some lectures and hands-on lab activities in conjunction with your veterinarian plus some special “technician-only” break-out sessions with Meagan Kirschner-Stephensen, the head veterinary technician for CSU’s small animal dentistry service.

Dr. Naomi Hoyer DVM, DAVDC
Dr. Naomi Hoyer is an Assistant Professor of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University. She graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2002. She worked in general practice for 10 years before starting her dental residency in private practice. She became an AVDC Diplomate in 2017. She left private practice in 2018 to pursue her passion for dentistry education. She hopes to share her love of dentistry with as many students and practitioners as possible. Her professional interests include management of periodontal disease and developmental maxillofacial disease.

Course cancellation could occur if registrations fail to meet minimum numbers 30 days prior to the course.
If a course is canceled for any reason, we are not responsible for any charges related to travel.
Refunds are available for cancellations made 60 days prior to the beginning of the course. Cancellations less than 35 days before a course are nonrefundable but may be partially transferrable to a future course.
