Course Description

A two-day course includes eight hours of lectures and eight hours of hands-on laboratory time performing respiratory endoscopic techniques using models, cadavers and live tissues.  Nasal disorders, airway stenosis, fungal rhinitis, laryngeal disorders, and lower airway disorders will be covered.  Participants will learn rhinoscopy, sinus trephination with sinoscopy, laryngoscopy and bronchoscopy.  Breakfast, breaks, lunch and evening reception included in the registration.  Bring your technician to learn important aspects of endoscopic care and support.

Lynelle Johnson DVM, PhD, DACVIM

Lynelle Johnson: Dr. Johnson received her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University, was in private practice in New York, and completed a Masters Degree and residency program at the University of Illinois. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and received her Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Missouri. Dr. Johnson is a Professor in the Department of Medicine & Epidemiology at the University of California, Davis and has just completed a second edition of her textbook, Canine and Feline Respiratory Medicine. She has lectured Nationally and Internationally on respiratory medicine and respiratory endoscopy.

David Twedt DVM, DACVIM

Dr. David C. Twedt DVM, DACVIM, graduated from Iowa State University and entered an internship and medicine residency in gastroenterology at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Twedt then joined the staff of the Animal Medical Center and was also a research associate at the Liver Research Center of Albert Einstein Medical School. He then joined the Faculty at Colorado State University and the Department of Clinical Sciences where he is a Professor.

Craig Webb DVM, PhD, DACVIM

Dr. Craig Webb DVM, After completing his PhD in Neuroscience Dr. Webb earned his DVM from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Webb did his internship at Alameda East in Denver where he experienced his 15 minutes of fame on Animal Planets “Emergency Vets” TV show. Dr. Webb was a resident at CSU, with Dr. David Twedt as his mentor, and has remained on faculty at the VTH ever since. He is currently serving as Interim Hospital Director of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at CSU.

Course cancellation could occur if registrations fail to meet minimum numbers 30 days prior to the course.
If a course is canceled for any reason, we are not responsible for any charges related to travel.
Refunds are available for cancellations made 35 days prior to the beginning of the course. Cancellations less than 35 days before a course are nonrefundable but may be partially transferrable to a future course.
