Endoscopic Management of Vascular Rings - Webinar


This talk covers the developmental errors and types of vascular ring anomalies commonly seen in dogs as well as the clinical presentation and diagnostic work up. Major emphasis will be on treatment, specifically endoscopic management of vascular rings.

Dr. J. Brad Case is an Associate Professor of small animal surgery at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary medicine. He is an ACVS Founding Fellow in minimally invasive surgery, and the 2017-2019, past President of the Veterinary Endoscopy Society. In addition to his clinical research in minimally invasive surgery and hepatic vasculopathies, he is investigating and co-developing novel coronary artery stents that prevent neointimal hyperplasia and restenosis; a common cause of heart attack in humans with coronary artery disease.
